DJ Rah D

Rah D is a Detroit-born DJ and curator rooted in jazz, soul, R&B, disco, and funk, with a sound that expands into soulful house, Afro house, and global rhythms.

Grounded in rhythm and feeling, she approaches DJing with intention, reading the room, allowing energy to build naturally, and creating space for people to arrive, connect, and move at their own pace. Her sets unfold with a sense of flow, balancing moments of release with a steady, grounded presence.

Guided by intuition, Rah D moves fluidly across sound, blending genres in a way that feels cohesive and responsive to the space. Whether in a lounge, club, or art setting, she creates environments where music and movement feel connected in real time.

She has performed with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, appeared at Spot Lite Detroit, and contributed to arts programming at Kennedy Heights Arts Center, alongside collaborations with artist Gee Horton.

Rah D is the founder of SOL House, a wellness centered practice exploring sound, somatics, and presence, and a member of Secret Sauce, a women-centered DJ collective focused on community, collaboration, and access.
